Utility Mapping
Comprehensive underground surveys including live mark up and GPR grid capture.
Utility surveys are usually used in conjunction with 3D or 2D topographical surveys and are undertaken to determine an accurate position of existing services within a site, enabling contractors to work with greater confidence as to avoid any costly errors.
Tracing work is carried out using the Ridgid SR60 and IDS Detector Duo Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to supplement the SR60 tracing work. This will be used to attempt to trace non-metallic gas and water mains. Results will depend on soil density, type and water content. The proximity and density of other services is also a factor.

2D and 3D Topographical surveys
A 2D topographical survey is an accurate recreation of an area of land showing all natural and manmade features with levels. Using our surveying equipment we will visit the site to capture the site features, land features and physical boundary details. From this we will process the information to produce a highly accurate drawing of all the captured data.
A 3D topographical survey is very similar to a 2D survey except all the data is recorded and delivered at its correct level according to a specified datum. Using our surveying equipment we will visit the site to capture the site features, land features and physical boundary details. From this we will process the information to produce a 3D drawing of all the captured data.

Measured building surveys
Comprising of floor plans, elevations, sections and BIM ready 3D plans using a number of different methods and equipment, we are able to produce detailed and comprehensive plans tailored to our client’s needs. We capture all the necessary data on site to process and produce drawings to include elevations, floor plans, sectional elevations, reflected ceiling plans and sections for either 2D or BIM ready 3D plans.

Setting-out engineering
Setting-out is undertaken to determine the location for above and underground infrastructural installations involved in construction operations. Using designs and plans to mark out the site, we work alongside architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors and planners.
